Supporting Funded International Doctoral Students in Professional Socialization

This study explores agency in international funded doctoral students’ professional socialization using data from interviews with students from Kazakhstan. The study reveals that the students rely more on networks with their peers from Kazakhstan to understand the domestic job market rather than on various actors from the host institutions.
