Appreciation of Cross-Cultural Differences through the Intercultural Sensitivity Model

This poster will review the intercultural sensitivity model, developed by Milton Bennett. The model brings awareness to cultural sensitivity through the five developmental stages: denial, defense, minimization, acceptance, and adaptation. Participants will learn how to accept the cultures of others without losing their identity.
