Non-Parametric Analysis in Educational Test Development: A Mokken Scale Approach

This study examines the Mokken Scale Analysis (MSA) as a flexible, non-parametric alternative to traditional models like IRT for educational testing. Applied to a 50-item Vocabulary Level Test, MSA identified scalable items, proving its value in test construction. The findings highlight MSA's practicality for small samples and non-linear data.
