Decolonization through Service Learning and Immersive Education Abroad

The Global Health Immersion Program (GHIP) is a summer service-learning abroad program where first-year medical students travel to a Global South partner organization to complete a public health project in a low-resource setting. Students develop knowledge of global health disparities, decolonization in health, and create sustainable deliverables.
