Jennifer Ellis Fritz is the Associate Director for the Office of Global Education (GE) at Bucknell University. Fritz has worked in the field of International Education for over 18 years. Fritz leads the GE advising team and manages the office's daily administrative operations. At Bucknell, Fritz actively engages in the Bucknell Beyond Boarders Council (BBBCC), a key committee to implement and facilitate internationalization on campus and beyond.
Fritz previously worked at the University of Pittsburgh as a study abroad advisor and co-managed the business and engineering Plus Three Program, awarded the Institute of International Education (IIE) Andrew Heiskell Award for Excellence in Study Abroad. While at the University of Pittsburgh Fritz also taught within the College of Business Administration and assisted in leading one of the Plus Three study abroad programs. Fritz is a past member of the Forum on Education Abroad: Advancing the Profession Working Group, 2023-2024, and Forum on Education Abroad: Europe, Middle East, and Africa Conference Committee. Fritz is a past member of the NAFSA Regional Affairs Council, the past Chair of NAFSA Region VIII, past member of the NAFSA Leadership Development Committee, past Region VIII coach for NAFSA Academy for International Education Class of 15, past Chair of the Nominations Committee for the IFSA National Advisory Executive Committee, and past member of the Diversity Abroad Network First Generation Task Force. Fritz has participated in various University and national committee positions with a special focus on STEM and first-generation college students. Fritz holds her B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her M.P.A. from Pennsylvania State University. Fritz is currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Education in the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis with an emphasis in Educational Leadership at the University of Missouri.
