Program Coordinator II
TAMU International Student and Scholar Services
A former editor of Cosmopolitan magazine, journalist, translator, flight attendant and a non-fiction books editor, I traveled to 30+ countries for interviews, investigations and inspiration before settling in Texas in 2016. Now I'm a Texas A&M University Higher Ed Administration PhD student and Program Coordinator at TAMU ISSS, helping to develop and implement a Cultural programs and events for the local J-1 community and international families on campus. I organized and co-organized international short film festivals, table game Fridays, campus walks, musical battles, bowling parties, ice skating lessons, coffee hours, Marvel movie watch parties, picnics, art and craft hours, tours, lectures, potlucks, and potentially some of the most impactful projects so far - an International Cookbook with student, scholar, faculty and staff recipes, and "Do not get deported" escape room that teaches campus community about international student and scholar problems.
