International Program/Project Manager

Stefan Yates is the International Program/Project Manager in the Office of International Programs at Kansas State University and a current PhD Student in Student Affairs in Higher Education. He is responsible for developing the global engagement directory and works with all constituents at the university to accomplish this task. Prior to joining the Office of International Programs, Stefan worked for several years in the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. Stefan has been employed at Kansas State University for more than 20 years. He has extensive program/project management and database experience and has been highly involved in planning many university-wide events throughout his tenure at the university.
Stefan is very involved in organizing activities that encourage student engagement and develop strategies for student retention with a strong focus on gamification of student activities and programs and serves on several committees as well as acting as one of the faculty advisors to the Kansas State University chapter of Delta Chi fraternity. In his spare time, Stefan is an avid tabletop gaming enthusiast and enjoys other pastimes especially reading Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror novels and watching football and a variety of genres of films. Stefan stays active by walking several miles each day.
