Dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences at Quality Leadership University since 2016, with over 20 years of experience in academic management, teaching, and the administration of Study Abroad programs. She has led undergraduate and graduate programs, coordinated accreditation and audit processes with local and international bodies, and developed initiatives to enhance global education opportunities.
Her research expertise spans educational policy, data-driven school leadership, and international student mobility. She has conducted qualitative research on the motivations of U.S. students for study abroad programs, the leadership of school directors in rural, urban, and Indigenous communities in Panama, and comparative analyses of educational standards between Panama and Chile. Additionally, she is leading efforts to explore AI's role in education and ChatGPT's strategic integration in teaching and research.
She holds an MBA from Florida International University and a Master’s in Marketing from Universidad de Chile. Currently, she is pursuing an EdD in Educational Policy at the University of Illinois, focusing on higher education innovation and internationalization.
