Agnieszka Pietrzak-Kirkiewicz is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw and the Postgraduate Management Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2005, she has worked at the Foundation for the Development of the Education System, focusing on communication and promotion of EU funds for education and higher education. As the Director of the Promotion Department, she coordinated the Ready, Study, Go! Poland project, launched in 2012 by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, promoting Polish higher education abroad. She was responsible for Poland's presence at prestigious conferences and fairs worldwide, including APAIE, NAFSA, and EAIE. From 2014 to 2016, she served as the editor-in-chief of the quarterly "Europe for the Active." She is an expert and reviewer in Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange programs, including Welcome to Poland and Promotion of the Polish Language. She was the lead editor of several NAWA publications, including Joint and Double Degree Programmes – Poland and the World, Welcome to Poland – Success Stories, PROM: Short Stays, Great Opportunities, and Promotion of the Polish Language. She was the editor of "SGH Magazine." From 2020 to 2024, she also managed the promotion of the Active Citizens Fund – National program for NGOs in Poland, funded by the European Economic Area (EEA) Grants.
