Dr. Li Li currently serves as the Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation at Shanghai Sanda University.
With 20 years of experience in higher education international exchange and management, Dr. Li has actively advanced in-depth collaborations between her university and overseas institutions. She has facilitated two-way student mobility, established various cooperative platforms between Chinese and foreign universities, and provided students with diverse international exchange opportunities, thereby enhancing their global perspectives and intercultural competencies.
Dr. Li earned her Doctorate in Education from Chapman University in the United States and her Bachelor's degree from East China Normal University. She also holds Master's degrees from Beijing International Studies University and Rider University in the United States, with academic training primarily in English Education and Educational Leadership.
Her research focuses on intercultural communication and competence, with her doctoral dissertation examining the intercultural competence of Chinese private college students. Over the years, she has taught courses on intercultural communication and intercultural business communication to both domestic and international students. She has also supervised undergraduate theses on intercultural topics, two of which were recognized as outstanding theses by the university. Additionally, she guided students in national college-level intercultural competence competitions, earning second- and third-place awards as a supervising instructor.
