Having obtained a first degree in International Relations at the University of Valle de Atemajac, she received a Master’s degree in Social Sciences at the University of Guadalajara. As part of her postgraduate program, she completed a research stay at the University of Saskatchewan (Canada) with the support of the Emerging Leaders of the Americas Program; as well as a summer stay at the Xi’an Jiaotong - Liverpool University in Suzhou, China. In 2021, she obtained her second Master’s degree, this time in Global Politics and Transpacific Studies at the University of Guadalajara, with a dissertation focused on the experiences of Mexican female students in China.
Her research topics are: Canadian Studies, China Studies, 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, National and City Branding, Experiences of Students and Professors in International Mobility, as well as Gender Studies applied to International Relations.
