Johannita Mills-Beale is a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), a member of the College of Immigration Consultants of Canada and the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE). As a seasoned professional, her work with immigrants, foreign nationals and international students has allowed her to remain engaged with the evolving landscape of the current immigration system.
Johannita is a dedicated International Student Advisor at Coast Mountain College, Terrace, British Columbia, where she provides guidance and support to students in order for them to achieve growth in their post-secondary journey. With her several years of experience, she has supports diverse student populations and helps shape inclusive, student-centered policies and programs.
Johannita has thorough knowledge of functional area of international student services; academic advising, tutoring, early referral/transition/recovery programs, career development and leadership programs. Her focus includes providing immigration guidance, developing student success initiatives and contributing to conversations that enhance the international student experience.
Having undergone rigorous immigration practitioner training, she is well-versed with various immigration processes, interpreting and applying regulations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high ethical standards. She also earned her Master’s degree at the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, where she focused on the well-being of international students and foreign nationals as a whole.
She has worked across various institutions bringing a unique blend of academic insight and immigration expertise.
