Gina Difino is a dedicated advocate for global education, specializing in guiding students through transformative international experiences and collaborating with faculty to design innovative programs worldwide. With a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Grinnell College and a master’s degree in international education from the SIT Graduate Institute, Gina brings a rich interdisciplinary perspective to her work. She has worked in education at all levels from Kindergarten through adult lerners and executive education. Her expertise is further bolstered by her certification as a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), enabling her to foster cultural competency and inclusivity in global learning initiatives. She has been with UNC-Chapel Hill for 13 years.
