Adriana López Barberena, PhD in Business Administration, is a full-time professor at Universidad Tecnológica de León (UTL) in Mexico, as well as a researcher and digital marketing consultant with over 25 years of teaching experience in Mexico and Europe. As a specialist in digital marketing, e-commerce, and research methodologies, she has participated in numerous international projects, collaborating with institutions and organizations in France, Canada, and the United States.
Currently, Dr. López Barberena is a Fulbright Scholar at Dallas College, where she focuses on integrating digital tools and service-learning methodologies into academic programs, promoting innovative and socially engaged approaches to higher education.
Throughout her career, she has led digital marketing initiatives for businesses across a variety of sectors — ranging from wineries to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) — developing online strategies, social media campaigns, and digital content platforms tailored to diverse audiences. Deeply committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry, Dr. López Barberena continues to explore the digital transformation of traditional sectors through research, consulting, and participation in international academic networks.
