WS01: Advancing the UN SDGs through Leadership, Learning, and Partnership

Gain insights on how to integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into programs and services. Learn the fundamentals about this global agenda and discuss various approaches that advance the SDGs while also directly supporting campus internationalization. This workshop guides participants to identify practical and meaningful contributions they can make individually and collectively to strengthen their institutions’ commitment and progress towards the SDGs.
Learning Objectives:
Gain knowledge of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs and the role higher education institutions play in advancing these shared global goals.
Explore different ways to integrate the SDGs into programs and services with partners at the campus, local, regional, and international levels.
Build professional networks with other higher education professionals who are supporting the SDGs and share experiences and best practices.
Determine realistic action steps to implement over the next year at the personal or institutional level.
