This session explores how institutions, organizations, and individuals can use data in a way that resonates with policymakers, stakeholders, and the public.

  • Develop strategic use of data to support policy arguments, influence decision-makers, and garner public and institutional support.
  • Gain insights into the types of data that can support international education advocacy and understand the various types of data that can be effectively utilized in advocacy efforts for international education such as demographic data, student outcomes, economic impact studies, stay rates, and qualitative data.
  • Utilize techniques for translating complex data into accessible and compelling narratives that resonate with different audiences.
  • Analyse case studies of successful advocacy campaigns through examination of real-world case studies of how data has been successfully leveraged in advocacy campaigns for international education.
