Chad Hoseth is the Assistant Vice Provost for International Affairs at Colorado State University (Colorado, USA). Chad helps lead CSU’s comprehensive Office of International Programs, which is responsible for international student enrollment, international student and scholar services, intensive English language instruction, study abroad, international partnerships, short-term customized training programs, academic and co-curricular learning opportunities across the campus, and CSU’s one-of-a-kind learning center in Todos Santos, Mexico. Chad is also a key liaison for CSU’s partnerships with EF (Education First) and the Institute for Shipboard Education and their Semester at Sea program. Chad’s efforts have contributed to CSU earning numerous awards and accolades for global engagement and internationalization. Prior to his work in higher education, Chad worked for over a decade in international affairs in Washington, DC, notably as part of the management team of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Chad is a Fulbright Scholar (Korea). He is pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Leadership with research interests on leading the internationalization of higher education. Chad currently serves as the Chair-Elect of NAFSA’s International Education Leadership Knowledge Community, and he regularly speaks on topics related to international partnerships and on higher education internationalization.
