Anna Kelly, Ed.D. is an imaginative global education scholar and practitioner focused on holistic, liberative teaching and learning through education abroad. Anna’s current research centers the creation of the novel framework whole human pedagogy for program development and leadership. She draws on her background in religion and culture by facilitating sessions on mindful learning and leadership, particularly for women and young people. She holds a Doctorate in Global Education from SIT Graduate Institute, a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Guilford College. Her other research interests include education abroad program design, contemplative and critical pedagogies, decolonial and anticapitalist frameworks, overachievement and burnout, and neurodivergence inclusion.
