David has 10 years experience supporting the international student journey for institutions of higher education. In previous roles, he has served as an international recruiter, international admissions processor, a credential evaluator, a Designated School Official (DSO), and a program advisor and research associate. He has served as a lead presenter, co-presenter, and poster presenter at various National, Tri-Regional, and Regional NAFSA conferences since 2017. He currently serves as Associate Director of International Recruitment and Admissions at Grand Valley State University where he designs, implements, and manages international recruitment and outreach strategies, and oversees the international admissions process. David holds a Master’s degree from the Josef Korbel School for International Studies, and Bachelor’s degrees from Michigan State University. His collaborative research has been published in the leading journal Nature Climate Change, and by NASA’s Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC).
