Dr. Carla Cassol da Silva is the Founder and Principal Consultant at the Internationalization Hub (IHub), the first Brazilian consultancy specializing in higher education internationalization. IHub advances global engagement through scientifically grounded strategies, with a strong focus on Latin America, where it has developed high-impact projects, context knowledg, market expertise and strategic networks.
A Ph.D. in Education and Master in Business and Management, Dr. Carla is also a researcher at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). With 20+ years of experience, she has designed and implemented Institutional Internationalization Plans, Virtual International Programs, Double-Degree Initiatives, and Curriculum Internationalization Strategies (IoC). She has also developed initiatives to connect HEIs from different countries with Latin American HEIs for collaborative projects, fostering international academic and business partnerships.
She established the Brazil-Australia Internationalization of Education Center at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), in partnership with the Australian Embassy. Currently, she serves as 'IoC in Action' Associate for Latin America and is a peer reviewer for international journals.
Dr. Carla has been invited to lecture worldwide. Her expertise and strategic vision make her and IHub essential partners for institutions seeking to expand their international reach, enhance global collaborations, and innovate in internationalization of teaching and learning process.
