Jessica Johnston brings over seven years of dedicated experience in international education and currently serves as the Assistant Director for International Faculty Advising at The Pennsylvania State University. In her current position, she leads a dynamic team of six advisers, specializing in a range of visa and immigration matters, including H-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, and EB-2/EB-1 cases. With a background in pre-arrival international student advising, Jessica has transitioned from her initial career in food science—where she earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree—to discover her true passion in supporting international faculty. Her journey reflects a deep commitment to fostering global academic communities and navigating the complexities of international immigration.
