Molly Heidemann serves as Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Miami University (Ohio) where she has supported the international student and scholar community since 2008. She began her career in international education at Indiana University in 2005. Molly became a member of NAFSA's Trainer Corps in 2008 and served as a trainer for numerous F-1 advising workshops at the regional and national levels. She participated in NAFSA Academy VII in 2010 and served as the NAFSA Region VI Regulatory Ombudsperson for student issues from 2012-2014. Currently, she serves as co-leader of the Caregivers in International Education MIG as well as the Region VI Academy Coach for 2025. Molly earned her BS in Psychology from Xavier University in Cincinnati and went on to obtain her MA in Social Science from the University of Chicago where she focused on Arabic students’ attitudes toward counseling.
