Leolyn Jackson has over 30 years of experience in higher education, having held key positions including Senior Lecturer, Head of Student Enrolment, and Director of the Southern African-Nordic Centre (SANORD). He also served as Director of the International Relations Office (IRO) at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), where he was a member of the Executive Management Committee, a Senator, and Chair of the Senate International Relations Committee. He is currently the Director: Centre for Global Engagement at the Central University of Technology, Free State, where he serves as a Senator, a member of the Senate Executive, and a participant in key Senate sub-committees such as the University Internationalisation Committee and the University Teaching & Learning Committee. His office oversees international student support services, international academic partnerships, academic staff and student mobility, as well as international student recruitment and communication.
