Roopa Rawjee is the Executive Director, Office of International Engagement at Illinois State University. With three degrees from India, a master’s degree from California State University Northridge, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from California Lutheran University, she utilizes her teaching and administrative experiences to lead comprehensive internationalization at ISU. A former school teacher and ESL instructor, she is passionate about learning in the workplace and seeks to create thoughtful learning spaces in different settings. With strong commitments to co-curricular learning and employee professional development, Rawjee is the inaugural mentor for the NAFSA RISE Fellows program, and Chair-elect of the Leadership Development Committee.
