Sandra Guarín Tarquino has twenty years of experience in internationalization of higher education institutions, international cooperation, glocal stakeholder connections, and project and grant management. She was the first National Coordinator of the Colombian Network for the Internationalization of Higher Education (RCI), a role from which she led the organization of the 10th Latin American and the Caribbean Conference for the Internationalization of Higher Education (LACHEC) and co-founded the Latin American Initiative for the Internationalization of Higher Education (INILAT). She has served as consultant and lecturer in international cooperation, comprehensive internationalization, and non-state diplomacy. Since 2016 she has been Director of International Relations at Universidad Antonio Nariño (UAN). She holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations, a graduate degree in European Studies and a master’s degree in Management and Development Practice.
