Associate Director for Alumni Relations

Anne Hayner is Associate Director for Alumni Relations at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies in the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame, and currently serves as president of the NAFSA International Alumni and Advancement MIG. She has been on the faculty of the Kroc Institute since 1987, where she has coordinated admissions, orientation, student services, and reentry for a highly international MA program in peace studies. She is now responsible for developing a professional peacebuilding network among alumni in 100 countries and connecting students with alumni for career development. In recent years she has presented sessions, workshops and posters for NAFSA and CASE on international alumni relations and on academic ethics across cultures. She majored in languages at the University of Michigan and earned an MA in peace and justice studies from the Earlham School of Religion. She has lived in France, Germany, Israel, and Ireland and speaks four languages.
