As Director of Global Health and Safety at Duke University, Anna provides strategy and vision for risk assessment, mitigation, health and crisis preparedness, faculty leader training, and response plans for undergraduate programs and students undertaking Duke-sponsored travel domestically and abroad. Before working at Duke, Anna worked at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill for about 3 years and at NC State University for 11 years. Anna is also a member of the NAFSA Trainer Corps.
Anna received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master's in International Studies from NC State. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development focused on Higher Education at NC State.
