Education Abroad Programs Coordinator

Hayley Barriere is an Education Abroad Programs Coordinator at the University of Vermont (UVM). She started at UVM in 2022 and primarily works with faculty on developing and executing faculty-led Travel Study programs. UVM typically runs between 20-30 faculty-led courses each year, including a mixture of "DIY" and provider-supported programs. Originally from Shaftsbury, Vermont, Hayley is a UVM alum and graduated in 2019 with a degree in Global Studies. As an undergrad, she studied abroad for a semester in the Netherlands and wrote a bachelor’s thesis on the ways immigrant criminality is represented in the media. She is currently working on a Master of Education degree. In her free time, she enjoys riding her bike, skiing, searching for the best ice cream in the state, and tending to her houseplants.
