Adam S. Cohen is a Partner with Siskind Susser, focusing on the immigration of physicians, researchers, faculty, and students. Adam is active in NAFSA and served for several years as a member of the Regulatory Sessions Working Group, International Students and Scholars Regulatory Practice Committee (ISS RP) and Trainer Corps. He is a member of AILA's High Impact Adjudications Assistance Committee, a former Vice Chair of the AILA Media Advocacy Committee, and a former Business Subcommittee Chair of the AILA USCIS Case Assistance Committee. He is also an active member of the International Medical Graduate Taskforce (IMGT), the physician immigration bar organization, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys, and he serves on committees in both organizations. Adam is the author of The Academic Immigration Handbook (updated annually), and he has spoken at AILA, NAFSA, and IMGT conferences, as well as for universities and organizations. Adam has been selected as a Thought Leader and Future Leader by Who's Who Legal: Corporate Immigration, as well as a Super Lawyers Mid-South Rising Star. He has been quoted in The Washington Post, The Times of India, Bloomberg Law, and other press and has written articles and op-eds for various publications, including The Hill and AILA’s Think Immigration blog.
