Natalie Lulia is the Acting Regional Director Americas, Middle East and Europe at Education New Zealand | Manapou ki te Ao (ENZ)* and joined ENZ in October 2023.
Natalie has worked in higher education and international engagement for over a decade, dedicating her career to intergenerational wealth creation through Indigenous Internationalisation. Natalie holds bachelor’s degrees in commerce and science from the University of Otago, and a master’s degree in business and management from the University of Waikato.
Prior to joining ENZ, Natalie worked for the University of Waikato as Director Māori, Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence and Strategic Advisor, International Indigenous Development. In these roles, Natalie paired her passion for creating transformational global opportunities with her expertise in strategic partnerships and programme development to grow a thriving ecosystem bringing together iwi, government agencies, universities, schools, businesses, educators, and students with communities across Asia and the Americas.
Natalie is an active member of her community, having represented as a Board member for organisations including YWCA and Asthma Waikato. Natalie is also Co-founder of Rangaranga Ltd, Rangaranga Foundation and Illuminatives Ltd and Founder of Vaimauri Consulting.
* Education New Zealand (ENZ)|Manapou ki te Ao is a New Zealand government agency responsible for helping Aotearoa New Zealand realise the social, cultural, and economic benefits of international education all over the world. The North America ENZ team is based in the New Zealand Embassy in Washington, DC.
