Mitsuko Leonard serves as the Director of Recruitment at the University of California, Davis. At UC Davis, Mitsuko has managed the international and domestic evaluation of undergraduate applications, as well as student recruitment within California, across the U.S., and abroad. She has spearheaded several recruitment tours, including the inaugural international recruitment tour for the University of California system. Mitsuko is passionate about challenging conventional established recruitment strategies and leans into innovative approaches geared toward the empowerment of students, enhanced access, and breaking down global barriers to higher education.
