Iryna Ivanets
Associate Professor in the Department of Corporate Finance and Controlling at Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU, Ukraine) and Associate Professor in the Research Group for Institutional Economics at the School of Business & Economics, University of Marburg (UMR, Germany).

As the Coordinator of the UMR–KNEU cooperation, Iryna plays a key role in strengthening cross-border academic collaboration. She serves as an Expert for the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in Ukraine and is an Associate Member of both the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Science Diaspora. She is also actively engaged with the Ukrainian Association for Management Development and Business Education, contributing to the improvement of educational quality and standards in Ukraine.

Her international academic experience included a position as Visiting Professor at the University of Redlands (California, USA). Iryna has coordinated several major initiatives, including three projects under the “Ukraine Digital: Ensuring Academic Success in Times of Crisis” program funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the “International Virtual Academic Collaboration (IVAC)” project, and two initiatives within the “Brückenprogramm Hessen–Ukraine” funded by the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts.

Beyond academia, she is the Founder of the NGO “Space of Opportunity 'You Can’”, General Manager of the International Charitable Foundation “Ukrainian Renaissance – XXI Century”, and an active member of the German NGO Mavka Marburg e.V., underscoring her strong commitment to social development and civil society engagement.

Together with her German colleagues, Iryna has made significant contributions to the advancement of international cooperation and the implementation of European standards in Ukrainian higher education, helping shape a modern, resilient academic environment across borders.
