Martha Van Devender is a Senior Evaluator at ECE, with nearly 20 years of credential evaluation experience. Her educational background is in cultural anthropology and library science; she enjoys a good research challenge. Martha focuses on education in Latin America and Anglophone Africa in her daily work, but she is curious about all aspects of international education and works with students from around the globe. Her enthusiasm is particularly apparent in her frequent presentations and trainings, where she tries to share as many resources as possible. Recently she has been interested in issues surrounding refugees and people educated in countries in crisis as she has seen the number of these students increase every year.
