Angie Witte is an Associate Director in Multicultural Student Services at St. Cloud State University where she is responsible for several programs and initiatives for student leadership, academic success, professional development and opportunities, and engagement activities. Witte also manages relationships and programs with external partners for new immigrants and refugees such as Qatar Scholarship for Afghans Project (QSAP) and Community Sponsorship Hub and Campus Sponsorship Circle (formerly Welcome Corps on Campus); coordinates a five-week summer bridge program for incoming first-year students; manages student leadership program such as the annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference and President's Leadership Program; provides support to several student cultural organizations; and maintains relationships with community organizations.
Witte successfully completed that NAFSA Academy training program for International Educators and procured two US Department of State, Bureau of Cultural Affairs, IDEAS grants based on best practices for increasing students of color participation in education abroad and the development of a new education abroad program for Native American students from SCSU to participate in an Indigenous Knowledge and Cultural Exchange program with Indigenous Australian students at Southern Cross University.
