Leah Boccaccio is an Advisor to International Students and Scholars at Harvard University. They hold a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Leadership and Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Master of Science in Cognitive Science from the Ruhr-Universität in Bochum, Germany, and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Psychology from the University of Vermont. Leah's international experiences include a semester abroad during undergraduate studies in an intensive French language program at Nantes University in Nantes, France, as well as three years in northwest Germany where they completed their graduate studies and taught English as a foreign language. Having moved back to the US almost eight years ago now, their expertise spans immigration advisinig, cross-cultural engagement, and higher education administration. Leah currently advises all international students and scholars who are on F-1, J-1, H-1B, and other visas at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, as well as all J-1 Student Interns doing research at Harvard's affiliated hospitals in the Boston area.
