Eduardo is a Financial Aid Counselor for Study Abroad at UC San Diego with over 5 years of experience working in Financial Aid and Scholarships. His current role consists of working under the Global Initiatives and Enrollment Management units at UC San Diego where he provides financial resources and support for all students looking to study abroad. In addition to counseling students, Eduardo oversees all study abroad packaging, scholarship awarding, journaling of funds to providers, and financial aid study abroad outreach. As a former community college student, he transferred to UC San Diego where he received his bachelor's degree in Sociology. He then completed a master's degree from San Diego State University in Postsecondary Educational Leadership with a specialization in Student Affairs. Eduardo is a first-generation college student from the California Central Valley with a passion for supporting students of all backgrounds with financial needs and achieving their goals to study abroad.
