Kirsten L. Feddersen is an experienced professional in international education and enrollment management with over 20 years of leadership across higher education institutions and education technology companies. She is currently the Vice President of Partnerships, USA at IDP, where she leads institutional partnership development and strategy across the U.S. market.
Prior to joining IDP, Kirsten served as Senior VP of Analytics & Consulting for North America at Studyportals, where she helped build the North American market for their analytics and insights portfolio. From 2019 to 2023, she held several roles at Northeastern University, including Assistant Vice Chancellor of International Enrollment Management, where she managed their graduate international recruitment strategy, who includes oversight of their global team.
Before Northeastern, Kirsten spent over five years at Southern New Hampshire University, most recently as Associate Vice President of International Programs, where she expanded the university’s international footprint and oversaw global outreach. Earlier in her career, she held positions at the State University of New York, EDU Danmark, and Aarhus University in her native Demnark, where she worked in international recruitment, study abroad advising, and program management.
In addition to her professional work, Kirsten has contributed to the field through multiple advisory and board roles. She is currently an Advisory Board Member for College Contact, and previously served on boards for AIRC, INTO University Partnerships, and Intead.
Her background includes extensive experience in international partnership development, recruitment operations, strategic planning and analytics. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is recognized for her work in data-informed enrollment strategies and international student mobility.
Kirsten’s career reflects a consistent focus on improving global access to education and building sustainable institutional partnerships.
