Mr. Cipriano Sánchez García, L.C., is of Spanish and Mexican nationality, he was born in Talavera de la Reina, Spain in the year 1958. He is a member of the Legion of Christ since 1975 and was ordained a priest in Rome in 1988.
He studied a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, specializing in Philosophical Anthropology at the Universidad Gregoriana of Rome, Italy; Master's degree in Theology from the Universidad Pontificia Sto. Tomás de Aquino, also in Rome and a Ph.D. in Philosophy at the Universidad Anáhuac México Sur with the thesis: "Participation according to Karol Wojtyla, anthropology for the community in postmodern society." He also has a certificate course in Classical Humanities at the Centro de Humanidades y Ciencias of Salamanca, Spain.
On the other hand, Fr. Cipriano Sánchez has made several publications among books and audios of spirituality such as: “La verdad os hará libres”, “Caminos de Cuaresma”, “Caminos de Adviento”, “Camino de Damasco”, on the occasion of the year of Saint Paul; “Certezas para esperar”, on the encyclical Spe Salvi of Benedict XVI. On issues of marriage he published “La historia es de dos”, in two volumes; Manual de Formación prematrimonial “Edificar el futuro” PPC and Manual de Pastoral Familiar PPC.
He served as Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Universidad Anáhuac México Norte from December 8, 2014, until October 31, 2015. In this position, he participated in the 50th Anniversary events, graduation ceremonies, various awards of institutional medals, signatures of agreements and as a representative of our Institution before the Anáhuac Universities Network, he was President of the Universidad Anáhuac México Norte since November 1, 2015 until June 30, 2016, and is President of the Universidad Anáhuac México North Campus and South Campus since July 1, 2016.
He speaks French, Italian, English, and Latin and knows Biblical Greek and Portuguese.
