Frameworks and Models for Placing International Education Alongside Global Employability

Those who are interested in exploring relevance, responsiveness and return on investment (ROI) within international education should join this discussion of career competence models. Participants review research and literature related to a range of employability frameworks and consider approaches to applying these types of metrics across various forms of international education.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define competence model/s and describe how these link to global employability.
  • Understand a range of competence models - across country, culture, industry - and consider similarities and differences across frameworks.
  • Apply competence models to international education and define at least one specific approach to incorporate relevant frameworks to practice.
