Susana Guzman serves as a program officer in the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Her experience within the State Department includes the lead for adviser professional development for advisers in the EducationUSA network, coordinating funding for EducationUSA advising centers worldwide; and working in the Fulbright Program . Susana seeks to further U.S. foreign policy objectives and build mutual understanding through cultural exchanges. Before completing her undergraduate degree at Florida International University, she received a Cultural Vistas Fellowship to Argentina, worked in Global Ties-Miami for IVLP, and served as a delegate for the Clinton Global Initiative.
