Jessica Chandarlis (she/her) serves as the Associate Director of the Office of International Programs at the University of Texas at Tyler, where she plays a key role in developing faculty-led programs and study abroad initiatives that align with academic goals and student interests. Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and has eight years of experience in the field of international education. She is also a Designated School Official, Alternate Responsible Officer, and Passport Manager. Jessica's selection as a 2024-2025 NAFSA RISE Fellow highlights her commitment to deepening her expertise in international education and driving meaningful, lasting change. She has also been increasingly focused on improving crisis management and incident response abroad, recognizing the critical role of preparedness in supporting student safety and well-being.
