Innes Ireland is Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global Partnerships) at University of Technology Sydney. He holds responsibility for UTS’s global engagement, including developing, managing and assessing UTS’s international partnerships, marketing, compliance, TNE, student mobility programs, on-campus global leadership program, and Europe office. Innes is also General Manager, UTS Global Pty Ltd, a UTS-owned company which controls UTS’s offshore offices in China.
Innes has worked at UTS since 2011, having previously managed Macquarie University’s Student Exchange and Global Leadership Program; and he was an Arts Project Manager with the British Council in Australia before that. Innes holds a Master of Arts in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) degree from Western Sydney University.
