Matt Washburn is a Program Officer for EducationUSA at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. and is responsible for managing a network of 46 educational advising programs in Europe and Eurasia. Prior to joining the Department of State in 2009, Matt worked for Peace Corps in Washington D.C., Ulaanbaatar, and Bishkek. Matt holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Richmond and an M.A. in History from the Central European University in Budapest.
