Jamie Greer is a seasoned educator with over two decades of teaching experience. She is also an author, an online global educator, and the owner of HATTS Off!, a homeschool company where she serves local students in Waco, Texas, and online around the world. Her passion for fostering cultural exchange and linguistic competence has been a hallmark of her career. While serving as a Spanish instructor at Louisiana State University (LSU), Jamie took on a leadership role in international education by directing the LSU in Spain program. Recognizing the transformative potential of study abroad experiences, she went on to create the LSU in Costa Rica program, expanding opportunities for students to immerse themselves in diverse cultural contexts.
Jamie’s dedication to international education is complemented by her commitment to academic growth. In 2021, she embarked on a new journey by enrolling in the Doctor of Education (EdD) program at Baylor University. Focused on enhancing her expertise in education and organizational change, she is on track to graduate in the spring of 2025. Her doctoral studies reflect her enduring commitment to advancing equitable and impactful international education opportunities.
Throughout her career, Jamie has created, coordinated, and led study abroad programs, guiding students through enriching experiences that broaden their perspectives and deepen their understanding of the world. Her work exemplifies the profound impact that dedicated educators can have on shaping global citizens.
