Today’s learners are tomorrow’s global challenge solvers. This session explores how the European University Alliances equip students with essential skills and enable them to address global issues. Discover best practices for challenge-based education and intercultural, interdisciplinary collaboration to prepare students for a rapidly evolving world.

Learning Objectives:

Identify examples of how challenge-based-learning (CBL) can be implemented into the curricula, how it benefits students, and explore characteristics of the European approach to CBL.
Define key components of successful strategic partnerships and interdisciplinary cooperation formats with non-university partners.
Summarize the contribution of the EU-flagship initiative “European University Alliances” to the European Education Area/ European higher education landscape and their approaches to addressing global challenges.
