This session explores the opportunities for and challenges of international academic cooperation in conflict-affected areas by bringing together strategic and operative perspectives. Presenters discuss tools and resources to support universities in navigating challenging circumstances and best practice examples for cooperation.

Learning Objectives:

Understand and explore arguments for why academic cooperation is of strategic importance in times of geopolitical tensions.
Understand challenges faced and identify good practice examples for cooperation measures with partners in conflict-affected areas.
Develop practical strategies for sustainable partnerships with partners in conflict regions.
