Christina 'Chris' Thompson (she/her) is a prominent leader in global education with nearly 20 years of experience and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She received the 2024 NAFSA Award for Impact in DEI in International Education and was previously awarded the 2022 GoAbroad Innovation in Diversity Award. Chris founded COMPEAR Global Education Network and the Global Respectful Disruption Summit, focusing on equitable strategies in global education. She chairs NAFSA's DEI Subcommittee, consults with Be Equitable, and has completd a doctorate in respectfully disruptive leadership at Marymount University. Her work has significantly advanced DEI in educational settings.
