Katarzyna (Kasia) Batorski, Director of Constituent Engagement, Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University
Kasia has dedicated her career to building meaningful connections, fostering collaboration, and creating opportunities for dialogue and exchange. In her current role, she leads outreach, communications, programming and global engagement strategies for over 24,000 alumni of the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies from the School’s campuses in Washington DC, Bologna and Nanjing. Kasia partners with colleagues and volunteers around the world to strengthen existing programs, develop new initiatives and foster meaningful connections for community and impact.
Prior to joining SAIS, Kasia was Senior Director for Conference Program at NAFSA: Association of International Educators, leading the conference program team to curate innovative educational content for the premier global professional learning and networking conference in international education. Before moving to the DC Metro area, Kasia was the Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement at the University of Chicago, where she worked with faculty and university leadership to advance the University’s global priorities. Kasia has also held various roles in the private and non-profit sectors, including banking, conflict-management and leadership development, trade finance and global development. Kasia earned a B.A. in International Studies and French from Loyola University Chicago and an M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations from the Seton Hall University School of Diplomacy and International Relations.
