Lucinda Acquaye-Doyle, Ph.D., MSW - Director of Programs and Resident Life, International House, NYC. (lacquayedoyle@ihouse-nyc.org) - As Director of Programs and Resident Life, Lucinda uses her skills as a social worker, international education specialist, and social justice advocate to oversee I-House functions related to resident engagement. Lucinda previously served as Program Director and Associate Professor of Social Work at Dominican University New York; Senior International Academic Programs Advisor at Stony Brook University; and Senior Student Services Advisor at DeVry University. With over 20 years’ experience curating and managing experiential learning initiatives with an emphasis on the participant’s holistic well-being, Lucinda has successfully led global education programs in Africa, Europe, and North America, and lived in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia as a Teachers for Africa Fellow through IFESH. Lucinda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences and Minor in African American Studies from SUNY University at Buffalo; a Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University; and a Ph.D. in Social Work with a Graduate Certificate in International Relations from Howard University.
