Campus Innovations and Strategic Partnerships in Support of Refugee Resettlement

U.S. higher education seeks to internationalize and globalize, while the U.S. Department of State is looking for new partners in refugee resettlement. Learn how welcoming refugees (students or others) contributes to campus internationalization goals and hear about best practices and resources available to support such efforts across the United States.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about innovative examples of campuses supporting refugees in their resettlement journey.
  • Understand the value and impact of engaging with refugees on enriching campus diversity and the perspectives and experiences of all students
  • Identify relevant partnerships, internally and with local resettlement agencies and other community partners to engage in refugee resettlement.
  • Learn how to access resources and a support network to begin or continue to engage campuses in resettlement.
